Welcome to Piedmont Vintage Homes

Piedmont Vintage Homes, LLC, with offices in northern Loudoun County and McLean, Virginia, is a small residential home builder that specializes in construction of classic Period homes.

New “Old” Homes

Not every home built today must look alike or be another drab variation of what production builders call “Colonial”. We offer old-fashioned, classic American homes of the past, built with all the modern attributes that matter today such as energy efficiency, open floor plans, and floors that don’t sag or bounce. The house plans we use come from a variety of sources:
  • “Old house” plans from a collection of recent period home plan books.
  • Updates of houses designed and published 100+ years ago.
  • Have a picture of an old house you like? We can build it.
  • Already have an architect? We’ll work with them to build the old house of your dreams.

Restorations and Historic Additions

Already have an old house? We can add on to your home with an architecturally sensitive addition that will look like it's always been there.

This house is based on one originally constructed in Jackson, Mississippi in 1889 for Bishop Galloway of the local Episcopal Church. The updated floor plan features an open kitchen/family room layout, large study, and four bedrooms. On the third floor, a studio in the majestic tower offers stunning views of the Short Hill Mountains.
